Was it All Just a Dream?

Pretty darn close to a reset button.

We don’t cut a lot of episodes of “Horizontal Transfer” these days. In fact, they are so infrequent, that the old website for the show is expired (and not being resuscitated). But we cut one last week to talk about what's happening in our lives, and you can listen to it now if you’d like (or just skip below to read the tl;dl version):

Among other things that are discussed are recent career moves. Paul’s still Paul-ing it up across the globe. Me? I’ve resigned my admin job and taken a position teaching high school science starting in August. In Singapore. It’s a lot like the job I had before I took the current admin job 1.5 years ago. But in Singapore.

With that in mind, I’ve drawn a close on AdminThoughts, the site that I used for my weekly writing-while-administering, and have decided to re-relocate back here, my own personal corner of the internet. If you notice, I’ve brightened the corners around this place, and generally got it back up and running.

I figure there’s going to be no shortage of things to write about going forward. With the move back to the classroom, I need to take mrknuffke.net out of mothballs, and get it ready for students once again. I need to (finally) do the work that I have to do to finish my AP Biology Course Video Series. I can’t imagine I won’t be producing new things to do with students on the regular. Oh, and there’s also the whole moving to Singapore to teach kids science with a family of 4 thing. That’s probably going to get a pile of words, too.

But all of that can wait until after the holiday. In the words of the cleverest card we’ve received to the (recently for-sale) house this year: Happy Everything to Everyone!

Thanks for reading. I hope it will be worth your time.
