May 13, 2011 David Knuffke From our “Pop Does Art” series. My father is spending his retirement sequestered in rural New Hampshire, taking art classes at a local university, and generally enjoying himself. In my youth, he was a biology teacher and a talented photographer. These days, he’s doing all sorts of post-modern abstracts. He sends out photos of them every once in a while, and I figured this was as good a place to put them as anywhere. I think they are badass. Plus, he’s never going to put them on the web himself, so… I have a few in the archived email from the last little while, I’ll stagger them up here when I get around to it. Here is the verbatim text of the email that he sent along with this one: These and a cup of coffee will wake you right up. Hard to argue that one.
